The Invoicing module integrates with your Customer list to quickly generate bills for your services or products, track outstanding amounts, and record transactions.
Who can access it:
The Invoicing module integrates with your Customer list to quickly generate bills for your services or products, track outstanding amounts, and record transactions.
- Finance teams and Admins.
- Navigate to Invoices in the sidebar.
- Click New Invoice.
- Select the Customer from your CRM list. The system will automatically pull in their billing address.
- Add Line Items for the services provided. Enter the Description, Quantity, and Unit Price for each item.
- Set the Invoice Date and Due Date.
- Save the invoice. It is initially created in a `draft` status.
- Once finalized, mark it as `sent`.
- When the customer makes a payment, click Add Transaction on the invoice page to record the payment amount, date, and method (e.g., Bank Transfer, Credit Card).
- As transactions are added, the system automatically updates the invoice balance. Once the balance reaches zero, the invoice status changes to `paid`.
